**Resumen de la posición****Locación**:Santiago/ Chile**Compañía**: Nestlé.**Área de Negocio**: R&D**Posición de Tiempo**: Full Time.**Estudios**:Ingeniería Mecanica, Ingeniería Electrica, o carrera/especialidad afín.**Años de experiência**: + 5 años.**Propósito de la posición**- Writing, revising and validating Machinery standards (URS) for key technologies.- Support factories with key supplier relationships, risk assessments, technical input.- Supplier scouting and evaluation.- Support during equipment design, machinery safety, commissioning, factory and site acceptance.- Lead and support technical assistance projects ensuring timely delivery.- Manage a network for engineers within the factories to drive sharing of lessons learnt, best practices and ensure relationships between biscuit sites.**Un día en la vida de...**- Validate the URS for a proposed investment in biscuit technology for one of our LATAM factories.- Deliver technical assistance to a factory to resolve an engineering issue on a line.- Connect with a supplier to review technical feasibility for a potential investment.- Work with your manufacturing and packaging engineering colleagues in the team to support industrialisation plan for a new R&D product development.- Prepare the info and connect with our commercial partners in the Confectionery Strategic Business Unit to align on the investment required to meet the medium and long term biscuit strategy.As the Zone Engineer you will form part of the Technical Unit in Santiago working alongside experienced colleagues in the areas of Biscuit Manufacturing, Packaging and Safety & Health, and part of a wider team delivering the biscuit innovation projects aligned to the global strategy.
